It was made by Smith & Wesson here in the U.S.A..1960 made 10/60 post war commercial P38 alloy frame also called transitional by some since it bridged the gap to the alloy P1. Some say it is a P1 since they are identical even though it has P38 on slide and box. This early version should be missing hex frame pin, but heard that shouldn't be an issue.
